This is my hands down FAVORITE italian restaurant in Santa Monica (and possibly in all of Los Angeles county). It's your classic mom and pop restaurant that had recently relocated to a larger space, but kept their prices low and their food quality just as fantastic. Large family style portions and beer/wine. We still like to come here regularly.

This is my hands down FAVORITE italian restaurant in Santa Monica (and possibly in all of Los Angeles county). It's your classic mom and pop restaurant that had recently relocated to a larger space, but kept their prices low and their food quality just as fantastic. Large family style portions and beer/wine. We still like to come here regularly.
Craving a steak? This is THE spot in Santa Monica. Great views of the ocean and the pier, and a plethora of options of porterhouse steaks as well as multiple cuts of dry aged meats. They've got a full bar, and other fantastic options for both seafood and vegetarians too. Great ambiance- recommend getting reservations in advance especially on weekends.

It is a 3-4 hour interactive affair where you can expect to be treated like a VIP. Inquire in advance with me as Yama-san is typically booked out.
