This is our go to place for a country diner-style breakfast! Every item we've tried from their breakfast menu has been consistently good and always comes out hot.
A sit down restaurant that serves up a great burger and also delivers on the more adventurous offers, like blackened catfish, sturgeon and even crocodile. Don't forget to grab a heaping piece of chocolate cream pie!

Staff are very friendly and the coffee is great in every way. Small, limited gun shop and sporting supplies among decorative odds and ends- gotta love our small town gems. Come for the coffee and have a fun shopping experience while waiting for the perfect brew!

Sightseeing
Crystal and clear blue water to paddle, kayak or swim in, the parking lot sits just a few hundred yards from the base of a gorgeous waterfall, a two-mile loop walking trail and the park includes places to bbq/picnic for the day. This is a must-see you'll want to visit again and again!

Ritter Island State Park
1205 Thousand Springs GradeCrystal and clear blue water to paddle, kayak or swim in, the parking lot sits just a few hundred yards from the base of a gorgeous waterfall, a two-mile loop walking trail and the park includes places to bbq/picnic for the day. This is a must-see you'll want to visit again and again!
Box Canyon State Park is located approximately 10 miles from our Hagerman Haus off W. Point Rd. Blink and you just might miss this small but incredible canyon with a crystal blue waterfall running right thru it!
This hike takes you along the canyon rim and down a steep drop into the canyon with cable lines to lead the way. May be a bit tricky or tough for younger children or elderly but not impossible. Please do watch your step and little ones along the canyon rim. Not feeling up to the hike? Just walk the short distance from the parking lot to the outlook for amazing views and that Instagrammable moment at sunset.
To find this secret oasis, jump back on the freeway and take Exit 155 at Wendell. Travel about three miles to 1500 East, then go south for four and a half miles. There you will see the state park's parking lot on the right. Google maps does a great job of getting you there as well.

We recommend this place for smaller parties of 2-4 that can book a private pools ahead of time. The main pool fills up quickly unless you are there on a weekday morning but the real treat is the private pool that is perfect for date night!
