Places worth a visit
Wow, so much more here then we expected. The house is worth a visit, you can also see the museum, chapel, 60 acre grounds, shops, restaurant, ice creams and a fab play area for the children.

Great selection of anything lavender, I personally love the lavender scones! (a tip if you go to the deli, they will freshly make you any scone, cheese, lavender etc) and you can come back tomorrow and collect them. We love the farm shop, nice restaurant, and huge shop to explore. 5 minute walk.

This is a hidden gem, A nature reserve with woodland, heathland and a huge bog! on a boarded walkway. 3 short walks with one having great views over looking the bog and wildlife. Free, 10 minutes drive. details in the house on where to park

Neighbourhoods
Heacham is a lovely, friendly village with a good selection of shops, Tescos is 1 minute from the cottage which is so handy. 2 Beaches (North & South), pubs, takeaways. A visit to the duckpond and see 60+ ducks (take some bread!)

AONB has amazing stripped cliffs, 4 minute drive or 30 minute walk from North beach. It is an elegant Victorian seaside resort with a Sealife centre, pirate crazy golf, amusements, boat rides, shops and takeaways.
