The beach here in front of the newly renovated is one of the best in Cyprus - it is pebbles and there are not many sunbeds so take your own umbrella but the water is fabulous

The port has a newly developed marina with restaurants and cafes it is small but worth a look. There are day trips offered out to Blue Lagoon in Akamas - many offer a local cooked lunch in the price and are a good family day out. The fish tavern Y & P is well-known and recommended though on weekends booking would likely be required

Just out the font door of the villa down to the right along pass the new houses is arguably one of the best walks in Cyprus. Walk out to a still largely undeveloped area with fabulous sunsets. You can continue down the coast if you like - picking your trail as you go it will take about an hour and a half to get to sea caves.

Walk out to a still largely undeveloped area with fabulous sunsets. You can continue down the coast if you like - picking your trail as you go it will take about an hour and a half to get to sea caves.
This is a fairly easy trail to start off with and interesting for children - in the spring and winter the rocks can get quite slippery so good footwear is recommended.

Not for the fainthearted it is a full days walk the first half of which is all uphill but the view over the Akamas is spectacular - I would not recommend it for summer tbh but worth a visit in spring or fall. You will need to take supplies of water etc with you and be aware that is is challenging - very steep rocky descent
