9 Ordway LnNorth Creek’s Ski Bowl Park is the site of the original Skiing Slopes from the 1930’s, and one of the earliest ski tows in the country. Often called “Little Gore” (it operated as a ski area into the 1970’s), today it is run as part of the larger Gore Mt. Ski Center with the Village Slope, 46er Chairlift, and Cross Country Ski Trails. Additionally in the warm seasons – a network of mountain bike and hiking trails wind through the woods and slopes. Ski Bowl Park also has tennis courts, baseball fields, a playground, and event space with a large covered pavilion and the Joe Minder Lodge. The Ski Bowl is also the terminus of backcountry ski trails originating from Barton Mines Road.

Test your skills on our disc golf course Airbender Woods located in the base area or take one of our self-guided interpretive hikes. Be sure to check out our fun hiking challenges, and don’t miss your chance to walk our labyrinth located at the top of the gondola. Lunch is available at the Open Pit Grille– dine on the sundeck or take it out on the trails for a picnic adventure.
