Its a small town and great pit stop for coffee on your way to the mountains or relaxing dinner on the way back to your retreat ! We like comming in the back way through the Plains to savor the unplugged feeling of being in the country whenever out for a day trip.

Middleburg makes for a great day trip, it's a longer country drive if you head out through the Plains and offers some nice shops and a few restaurants .
The Red Fox is very nice and in the higher price range but great for a very special occasion.

It's an experience of getting served like royalty and there is so much food that you won't feel like driving much. With that said you won't find a place to stay there for the cost of our place so if you want to splurge on the fantastic meal experience and drive back to our Country Retreat it's only about 40 minute drive.
