Nitehawk is great for a movie night. You can order food and/or drinks during the movie, and they have a bar on the first floor if you arrive early, or want a cocktail after the flick. On the weekends, they show awesome midnight movies. One of my favorite theatres!

I'm not sure if this is a park, but I'm a cyclist, and I've ridden from my apartment to around this area. I'm more advocating the bike ride up here than this actual destination :)

PS1 is great. They always have wonderful exhibitions, and it's not so big that you can't do it all in a few hours (if you take your time).

This is where I do laundry! It's usually a couple of dollars in change (they have change machines) for wash, and another couple of dollars to dry. I have a drying rack that you are welcome to use if your clothes are less than dry :)
