Sightseeing
The Riverwalk is one of Tampa's most popular attractions. It spans from the Florida Aquarium all the way to Armature Works. There are museums, restaurant, parks and playgrounds along the way. Its a wonderful way to see the downtown area. You can also rent little electric boats, paddle boats or grab a ride on the Water Taxi along the way. Highly recommend taking a stroll along here.

This park is the site of multiple yearly festivals including the Gasparilla Music Festival, Gasparilla Art Festival, Food Festivals. You can also attend outdoor activities like Yoga in the Park. Located in the heart of the Riverwalk, there are also plenty of bar and restaurants within a short distance. You can also find a large playground for kids and dog park. The Water Taxi has a pickup/dropoff point here making for easy access to other attractions nearby.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park

Tampa Bay History Center is a history museum in Tampa, Florida. Exhibits include coverage of the Tampa Bay area's first native inhabitants, Spanish conquistadors, and historical figures who shaped the area's history, as well as a reproduction of a 1920s cigar store.

ZooTampa at Lowry Park is a 63-acre nonprofit zoo located in Tampa, Florida. In 2009, Lowry Park Zoo was voted the #1 Family Friendly Zoo in the US by Parents Magazine, and is recognized by the State of Florida as the center for Florida wildlife conservation and biodiversity. This is another favorite for our family. You could spend a whole day here. I highly recommend doing one of the animal experiences.

Thrill seekers and animal lovers will equally love this amusement park. There is an area for little ones as well based off of Sesame Street.
