Midway City is located 17 miles by road from the hotel, flanked on the west side by Wasatch State Park. Midway has a number of great restaurants, and easy access to hiking, biking, nordic skiing, and snowmobiling in Wasatch State Park.
Cascade Springs is a great place to visit while the roads are open with pathway and boardwalks meandering through pools and falls fed by the mountain springs. It is an easy drive from Midway on the newly completed road. After checking out the springs, take a fall color drive along the Alpine trail to the Sundance resort with fine and casual dining, spring and summer lift rides for hikers, bikers, zipliners, or anyone wanted to see the views around Mt. Timpenogas. Check out the historic bar at the Owl Bar.
