So many great places to eat in southend. Too many to list if anything. So this is a list of personal favourites in the area.
This place has fantastic milkshakes and is great for a small bite. Located right by the sea front with a unique interior. One of a kind.

Due to Covid, I would reccomend contacting these venues in advance or checking online for updates to make sure you are able to go.
Aquarium located next to the seafront. Great for a day out for the family.

You can enjoy the 1.3 mile walk both ways (2.6 mile return trip), walk one way and ride the train one way, or train both ways. Masks must be worn on the train and in enclosed areas of the Pier.
Takeaway services are open everyday offering drinks, snacks, ice cream and fish and chips.
Eating in is now available in both the ‘Salt Café’ and ‘Pier Tearoom’ where we will be taking visitor’s details for the NHS Track and Trace scheme.
Fishermen are welcome, but fishing is only permitted at the end of the Pier, and under social distancing measures.

You have 2 trains located very close to the flat.
Victoria station at the top of the highstreet, is a southend to london liverpool street line. It stops at 11pm. Trains around 15 mins apart.
Central station, by the college, is a shoeburyness to london fenchurch street line. Trains around 20 mins apart.
Londonbound: stops around 11.30pm
Shoeburyness bound: stops around 1.30am
Both wheelchair accessible.

Southend Market is a must see
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 8.30am till 4pm.
Our Town Centre hosts a traditional farmers and craft market offering traditional farming produce and crafted items, unique gifts, crafting trends and fashion designs. Farmers' Markets have proved to be the perfect way of re-establishng a direct relationship between producer and consumer. Their existence is helping to revive old craft traditions and small-scale production.
These market stalls give people the chance to buy local, freshlycultivated goods and handcrafts.
