It is a common delusion to think that every summer starts with riding motorbikes and the arrival of the storks. The real party people know that nothing happens in summer-Budapest until Anker't is opened. This is Anker Klub's twin brother and one of the biggest outdoor place in Budapest with dance floor, cool beach atmosphere, and at least 2-3 people you haven't seen for a while. The explanation is simple: on a busy night everyone visits this place at least one time. You shouldn't miss that either, long summer nights have their history here.

Tired of your average party venue? Spend a night at the Fogas Ház, one of the vanguards of the ruin pub scene in Akácfa utca. The place has long been a catchment basin for arts and artists, but it was not until 2010 that it reached its current form and popularity. Besides sporting a great name (meaning "House of Teeth", which derives from a 100-year-old sign found during the initial renovation that advertised denture repair), Fogas Ház also has a stylishly interior and budget-friendly prices, plus dance floors to help cure your boogie fever! Schatzi, Lärm, Pont and Liebling are also part of the party-complex so bring on the cocktails or dance until dawn!

Akvárium Klub surrounding Erzsébet Square and Deák Square together constitute the largest and perhaps best-known meeting point of downtown Budapest. Thousands of youngsters gather here night after night to chill out in the park or on the steps of the club. Akvárium Klub is more than a simple bar: it is a culture center with a wide musical repertoire from mainstream to underground. There is always a good concert and a smashing exhibition, performance, or other event happening here, in a friendly scene, situated right in the city center.

After a recent renovation, Budapest’s most cherished day-trip destination now welcomes everyone to escape the hustle and bustle. The main walking path of Normafa that leads to János Hill is freshly paved, and the trails are marked with easy-to-read maps, while new benches and trash cans make the surrounding area cleaner and more comfortable. The spacious playground is upgraded with fun equipment, natural colors, and lot of wood surfaces – and this natural escape will be further developed in upcoming years.

Széchenyi Thermal Bath is one of the largest spa complexes in Europe. Its outdoor pool with the steam rising from its surface on winter nights and the complacent elderly men playing chess in the water is a world famous symbol of Budapest. The bath in Városliget was built in neo-Baroque style at the beginning of the 20th century. The Széchenyi is the most popular bath among locals thanks it its size and wide range of services. Numerous indoor and outdoor pools, a thermal and a wellness department (steam room, sauna etc.), medical care, therapies. fitness and miscellaneous services guarantee the perfect visit. The open-air pool is open in the winter as well!

It’s classic but in another sense than the Great Market Hall. It’s open-air and the goods are spread out in front of your eyes. It’s run-down in a romantic way and could very much be the smallest in the capital. Small as in cute. The original spirit of markets, that of the contact between buyer and merchant, the real, uncorrupted farmer comes into being.

St. Stephen's Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038), whose supposed right hand is housed in the reliquary. It was the sixth largest church building in Hungary before 1920. Since the renaming of the primatial see, it's the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest. Today, it is the third largest church building in present-day Hungary.

The Dohány Street Synagogue also known as The Great Synagogue or Tabakgasse Synagogue, is a historical building in Erzsébetváros, the 7th district of Budapest, Hungary. It is the largest synagogue in Europe and the second largest in the world. It seats 3,000 people and is a centre of Neolog Judaism. The synagogue was built between 1854 and 1859 in the Moorish Revival style, with the decoration based chiefly on Islamic models from North Africa and medieval Spain (the Alhambra).

The Hungarian State Opera (Magyar Állami Operaház) is the masterpiece of Miklós Ybl, one of the greatest Hungarian architects of all time. The Opera was opened in 1884. The building is a splendid example of the neo-Renaissance style, while its rich ornaments also show a few baroque elements. The auditorium can seat 1300 persons, and although it is not the largest opera, it has the 3rd best acoustics in Europe after the Scala in Milan and the Opera Garnier in Paris. Its most widely noted piece is The Nutcracker, which has enjoyed unfaltering popularity for years - despite being on show all December, it is almost impossible to get tickets for this Tschaikovsky ballet.
