This is a fun hill to hike with a great view up top. There is even a guest book in a box at the top for travelers to sign and a rock tower for you to place your rock on. There are stairs and a trail on the back side of the hill. You will enter the buffalo pasture area to get to the back side of the hill.

The Bighorn river starts after the wind river canyon. There is a place called wedding of the waters that I have in my guidebook as well. It signifies the name change after it has left the Wind River Indian Reservation. The bighorn river is beautiful! Sit by the river and enjoy the peaceful views, float in it with tubes, kayaks, canoes, rafts or boats. There are places in town you can rent floating devices or pay to have someone take you floating. Great fishing spots all year round up and down the river. There are plenty of game and fish areas and lots of boat ramps to enter or exit along the river. If your looking for a long and beautiful float start at wedding of the waters and float to the state parks boat ramp. If you want something a little shorter their is a boat ramp at 8th street bridge (not too far down the road from McDonald's) Start there and float to the State Park boat ramp. Whatever way you choose to enjoy this beautiful river you won't be disappointed!

Get a chance to view these majestic beasts. Take a drive through the buffalo pasture and see them grazing and enjoying their peaceful lives. Take some photos but remember not to get out of your car and try to approach them. They can get very protective especially if they have babies.

Swinging bridge is a favorite! Scare your loved ones by jumping side to side while they are on it to give it some extra swing. You get a beautiful view of the hot springs terraces from the other side. Even at night it is fun with all the beautiful lights strung. Park near the big spring and then walk the terraces path to get to it.

This little spot goes unnoticed by many but it is one of my favorite little spots. See and take pictures of some neat looking rock formations. Walk down some staircases to view the river and a small steamy cave that has some mineral water running out of it. If you get lucky you might see the green eyed monster bubble up out of the river here. Pretty cool if you actually get to see it. the place is nick named by locals as Green Eye because of it.

This is a local favorite. Walk the path where the mineral water falls from the terraces to meet the river. Wade and swim in the area. Look for fish, turtles and wildlife. Just remember to stay off of the terraces. People climbing on them ruins and breaks them down. We want them to be around to enjoy for many many years to come. There are also nice picnic areas, parks and walking paths all around. If your floating use the nice boat ramp for loading or unloading.
