Its a little out of the way but Punta Laguna is a great place to visit to see monkeys in their natural habitat. there is also a beautiful lagoon to swim at and zip lines.

There are also many local shops that sell souvenirs much cheaper then in town. There are also some small fruit markets and places to grab roasted chicken plates and tacos for cheap.
