Andy's is definitely a neighborhood spot. Just up the stairs on First Avenue. Cozy bar with surprisingly good food as well! Always full of interesting characters.

The Elk is a cozy pub in Browne's Addition (walkable from the house). My favorite is the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich (with corn pasta salad) - great spot for lunch/dinner with good beer on tap.

This is, hands down, one of the best restaurants in town. A bit pricey, but nice for a special night out. Handmade pasta and desserts - you can't go wrong! Reservations are often required.

Iron Goat is my favorite brewery in town! Walkable from the house (via the stairs). Favorite beers - Hazy IPA and Goatmeal Stout. They have amazing pizza as well - the Spicy Bahn Mi and Thai are the best in my opinion. Definitely a must-visit!
