Stunning day out. Most beautiful gardens to walk through and great places to eat and taste wine. The main restaurant, Babel needs to be booked weeks in advance. You can also have a light meal in the Greenhouse (no booking necessary) of grab a snack in the wonderful farm shop/bakery

Our closest mountain for hikes, cycle and 2 great dams to swim in summer. The easiest one to access is past Danie Craven stadium up the hill. It is generally safe to go here but might be quiet in school holiday times. Best not to go on your own then.
