Just at the bottom of Clifton Hill, a 5 minute drive is the gorgeous seaside village of Sumner. There are many trendy cafes and restaurants, a local library and boutique cinema. Sumner is considered the best beach in Christchurch and is safe for swimming. The village has a local vibe and is a sought after place to live. There are many modern architectural homes overlooking the bay.
