This is a mountain bike trail made by mountain bikers. It is a 20 walk/5 minute ride from our front door. No driving necessary. The track weaves its way through the bush and has multiple jumps, tight corners and endless beautiful bush scenery. Watch out for echidnas on the trail!

Beautiful all year round. In winter, there may be snow. Toboggans are available for hire as well hot donuts and coffee for purchase at the summit. There are beautiful walks starting at the summit as well as a lookout.. Along the way, there is a beautiful spring where locals and visitors stop to fill their water bottles. This is also a popular place for bike riders to challenge themselves

This far out of the city the river is simply beautiful. There are numerous spots to swim, walk, fish and is a matter of driving around and finding a site that suits your needs. Some parts of the river can be quite fast flowing and deep. Please, be careful whenever entering water. Ensure children are supervised at all times by an adult and never dive in anywhere. After rain, there are often tree branches and debris washed down river and can be difficult to see from above water. Also, occasionally people fishing leave hooks behind. there are also sharp rocks so most locals swim wearing river shoes (any shoe that you don't mind getting wet, that is well attached to your foot and has a good sole). Another local favourite is getting dropped off at east Warburton and floating down the river on a tyre, lilo or unicorn! People then arrange to be picked later down river. Platypus are around and can be seen early mornings and late evenings. Many locals bring their dogs to swim also, please ensure you pick up after your dog.

Drive halfway up Mt Donna Buang and pull over for a short stop at the Rainforest Gallery. There is a 40m long platform that cantilevers out through the tree tops, around 15 metres high giving you an amazing view of the rainforest. There is also a lovely bush/board walk for those that don't mind some stairs. The platform is accessible from the car park and there are no stairs. There are also public toilets available at the carpark. Lyrebirds are very common in this area. Continue on up the mountain to reach the Mt Donna Buang summit. https://www.warburtoninfo.com/blog/Rainforest-Galley-Donna-Buang.html
