If you love great food like we do, Fredericksburg is the place. We have included a few of OUR personal favorite places to eat. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Best pizza around!
Insider tip- make sure you call early to reserve your pizza dough. They only make a certain amount everyday. Once they are all reserved for that day, they are gone. Call early. Totally worth checking out. Outside seating only. Beer and wine served too.

Cool dive, great food. Ask for the Cover Burger. It's not on the menu but it is what they are famous for.

If you love Italian food, check out Pasta Bella. It's our favorite Italian restaurant in Fredericksburg. But be aware, if you go at peak times (especially on weekends) there will be a wait but it's totally worth it. (They are also closed on Sundays)

Just about a 40 minute drive from the Cabin to the small town of Centerpoint, is this awesome hidden gem. It’s like walking into a local Caribbean hangout. Great food and drinks and music that fits the place perfectly.
Heads up though, it is not air conditioned so dress accordingly in the hot summer months. It has become one of our favorite hangouts. If you love the Caribbean, this place is a must.

This is an old railroad tunnel which ceased operations in 1942. Since the shutdown of the railway, the tunnel has become a bat cave, hosting over 3 million Mexican free-tailed bats and 3000 cave myotis bats. The bats emerge at sunset during the months of May through October, and viewing is open to the public.

Like Bourbon? This place is a must. Even if you don't consider yourself a bourbon drinker, you will enjoy learning all about the process that goes into making this great Texas spirit. Who knows, it may turn you into one. It did me! ; D

With 7 barns and acres of shopping, Trade Days has it all.
If you can't find it here, you really don't need it. LOL
Seriously, for a $5.00 parking pass (good for the whole weekend) it's a cool place to roam. Lots of food, a Biergarten and live music. It runs the weekend of the 3rd Saturday every month.

Wine tasing and ladies boutique
Love wine? We do too! Fiesta Winery has a wine for just about everyone. Whether you like sweet, dry, bubbly or something in between, they have it.
Ladies, the best part is after you have your wine in hand, go to the back where there is a boutique with lots of great clothes and accessories at reasonable prices.

Arch Ray is a one stop place for everyone. They have the 1894 Restaurant along with an in house distillery (Paul Bee Distillery), Ogle brewery and Arch Ray wines to taste. Beautiful outdoor seating as well. Kid friendly.
