I have bought fruitcake ingredients for decades, fish, spectacular vintage wear and innovative fashion finds plus tasty snacks as I shopped. A short walk from the house, easy to spend a whole day walking and browsing and shopping and snacking.

Fascinating, fun family or yourself fare
Both family groups and convention attendees have said this was wonderful. I've enjoyed Vancouver's many times, but this one is special as it embraces participation. Their keepsake of Toronto is a group shot on a fridge magnet, taken at Ripley's!

People in Toronto are friendly and will give directions to lost souls. Late night hunger is easily addressed on Spadina, a favourite is Swatow, open to 2 a.m.

While there is a deck to enjoy outside, for people watching and picking up the local scene, visit Grange Park behind the Art Gallery of Ontario. Fun for kids, have a snack or visit the young art scene at Ontario College of Art and Design.
