You can book to go gliding at Wattisham. This has been tried by a family friend and it was tremendous fun. Contact the airbase and book well before hand. You need security clearance, passport.

This fabulous old public house and restaurant caters for vegetarians and vegans and is run by an incredible lady who started this business several years ago and is now a massive success. Book early to avoid disappointment because the food is unique and you won't find a better service or cosier pub around than this one. I love the roaring fire.

A firm favourite of mine and also my sons. They have a good variety of good and a separate restaurant/bar area. The bar area has a pool table.
The staff in this public house are friendly and they serve you very quickly. You can eat in the bar or the restaurant but it is always busy so best to book - about 10 minutes from Model Farm.
