Where we take our kids - especially outdoor spaces to run around, ride bikes/scooters and some have ice creams/eateries for after.
Our local playground and splash park - great for kids especially on hot days. It's a 3 minute walk via the car pad, with a small playground, turf field and bike/scooter track.

At Navy Yard you'll find a bike trail suitable for bikes, scooters and with space for kids to run around. During summer there is a fun shallow pool for splashing and cooling down. Enjoy an ice cream, drink or meal from one of the many eateries in the development.

Two wheels are the quickest way to make most journeys in DC. There are numerous services available - Capitol Bikeshare and Lyft amongst others. Make use of the excellent bike lane network and ride safe :)

Parking can be tricky (and expensive) in DC, especially around the mall, downtown and other popular built up areas. To avoid the hassle, consider Lyft or Uber.
