• One of our favorite things to do is bike from Playa Del Rey to Manhattan beach on the bike path. You’re able to rent bikes (we hear the electric rentals are the best!). It’s about a 6-mile bike ride but goes by in 20-30 minutes – mostly flat and very doable! The views are people-watching are fantastic.
• El Porto – Come here if you’re trying to surf. These swells have lefts and rights that break over sandbars and tend to have bigger waves than the surrounding areas.
• Manhattan beach is a laid-back South Bay community, with tons of volleyball courts. Its small downtown area is also lined with boutiques, brunch cafes, pubs & creative, upscale eateries.

You also can’t miss the outdoor, famous Muscle Beach or skatepark. If you’re looking for more upscale – try Abbot Kinney Boulevard for foodie hot spots, stylish boutiques, coffee bars, etc.
Absolutely beautiful sunsets. The beach is clean, not crowded, safe, and gorgeous! Also a great place for plane watching, bike riding, and playing volleyball!

This whole spot is not monitored as much – groups tend to bring booze and party here (so be mindful of who you're bringing)!
