Huge, hearty portions make this place a handy spot when in my nearest village (Douglas) which is a 5 minute drive or a 25 minute walk.

One of my all time favourite things to do on a fresh Saturday. Stunning views and a lovely, long walk. Then into the village of Garryvoe for a warming bowl of fresh chowder! Yum!

You can walk here on a stunning, very popular 45 minute pedestrian walkway, have a look around or maybe even pay to go into the observatory. Then have a fantastic meal in the restaurant (which is nearly always booked out!) and stroll home again orelse hop on a bus to the city and continue your exploration!
