Entertainment & Activities

A hidden gem in LIC, this venue is a nice small intimate theater. New talent has an outlet here- see a comedy show, a reimagining of a Shakespeare play, or some faithfully done Arthur Miller; attend a One Act Play Festival; you can satisfy that theatre itch without scratching in the city! Get there early so you can get Center seats instead of the left or right side which don't give you such a great view. The place is clean. There's a bar in the front. With drinks and snacks. Definitely worth a trip.

Rock-climbing indoor climbing gym. It has the higher walls that climbers prefer as well as shorter walls, and enough auto belays for the unattached climber to use until they find a partner. Almost all of the climbs are leadable and the lead only overhung cave will challenge almost any advanced climber. There are classes for beginners as well as more advanced classes. The bouldering area is quite large and climbs are updates an a regular schedule. You will also find a full locker room with lockers, showers, and sinks and a small but adequate retail shop with enough climbing equipment to outfit the beginner.
