another Adult place... But frankly I think the food is overrated. The chef is a bit heavy on the salt!!! I do like the bar. A good social and friendly place for a late night plate of pasta (with little to no salt!!). Late night in Hudson is 10pm!

Pizza - Wood Fire Oven - classic Italian - bubblily and thin crust. If you are looking for classic American style pizza, heavy on toppings, Baba Louie's is a couple doors down. And after many pizzas - Baba Louie's keeps getting better and better while Oak gets worst.

Now my favorite coffee/ tea place. Its near my Studio - Upper Warren Street. Funky, old school spot. Always a friendly face and a local conversation to jump into. and yeah plenty of room to sit privately by yourself, too.

Sightseeing
Hudson is great to walk around. The entire length of Warren from the river to the Square. Check the residential parallel streets on both sides of Warren. The alleys are cool too. There is the River Park, Oakdale Park( a few blocks off warren on 6th street) with a spring fed pond where you can swim and the cemetery up on the hill near the hospital. If you have a car, visit the dozen or so hiking areas and small towns in Columbia County. https://columbiacountytourism.org. Adventures await you.

Smaller River town - Right across the River. The Hudson River . In summer there is a ferry that goes back forth. Check schedule. A only few low key shops, restaurants, bars, galleries and streets for that matter. Cool quaint place for an afternoon or evening visit.
