Drive the White Mountains! The junction of route 16 and the Kancamagus Pass is just a short drive. You can plan a full circle around the WMNF, or just enjoy the drive back/forth to Lincoln. The views are beautiful with plenty of points to stop off. The closest Visitor Information Center for White Mountain National Forest - the Saco Ranger Station - is just off route 16 on the right as you head west on "the Kanc".

Bring towels, pack a lunch and plan on getting wet as you and your group climb over rocks and enjoy to cool mountain stream.

Diana's Baths is a natural waterfall in Bartlett and a very popular attraction. Part of the White Mountain National Forest, there is a daily entrance fee, but the short and easy path to the falls is very accessible (handicap accessible - could be managed in a wheel chair). Strongly recommend that if this is on your list you go on a weekday and go EARLY as parking will fill up and entry will be closed - generally we find before 10am to work best. StoryLand is a great family friendly amusement park for all ages, but in our experience is a fantastic first park experience for toddlers. A great way to maximize your admission is to take advantage of their policy that entry after 3pm allows you to re-enter the next day. You can pack a full picnic and bring into the park to enjoy for lunch, but there are plenty of great healthy eating options. We first took our daughter when she was 2, her last visit was at age 11 when she felt she was too grown up. The pricing is good, the property/landscaping is really beautiful. This is a great day trip for your family.
