Biggest Spectacular display of tulips and flowers in the southern hemisphere. It's on every year and starts from 15th Sept until the 15 October. Must see if your in Canberra during this time.

Definitely a day trip.... takes about half an hour to get there.
it has beautiful nature walks and you can choose walks where you can see platypus, emus, koalas and snakes (yikes!)
If you see a snake, stand still and wait for it to move on :-)
Everything else is magnificent!!! ❤️
fyi - dogs are not allowed because it's a National Park however we f you need a pet sitter, that can be arranged :-)

Opposite the Tidbinbilla national Park is the Tidbinbilla Space station. it's not that big but still worth a visit. it's got a beautiful playground, great views of satellite and very educational on space.

Very addictive frozen custard place and is hugely popular with the younger generation. You can choose from variety of favours and tasty treats. My favourite is the mixed berry, lychee and white chocolate flake with vanilla concrete but everyone has different tastes :-)

The takeaway food option for buffet is the best! One buffet can feed at least 2/3 people. a full two buffets can easily feed 6. Great food at a reasonable price :-)

Look no further than this place for great cakes and pies! There are some bakeries that actually put cherries and a black Forrest cake and limit the amount of sugar 🤫 . Fantastic cakes, very busy. you won't regret the visit :-)
