Bayou St. John was the old entry point into the city, and it remains one of the prettiest spots in town till today. Take a sunset stroll along the banks, or bring a picnic and sit for a while, its also a great place to run, and you can follow it all the way to Lake Pontchartrain, along a beautiful bike /walking path, or connect up with the Lafitte Greenway and head into the French Quarter.

Bayou St. John was the old entry point into the city, and it remains one of the prettiest spots in town till today. Take a sunset stroll along the banks, or bring a picnic and sit for a while, its also a great place to run, and you can follow it all the way to Lake Pontchartrain, along a beautiful bike /walking path, or connect up with the Lafitte Greenway and head into the French Quarter.
