It's not a day on the lake if you don't stop in at Sam's. Apparently you can get there by car but we've only been by boat. Be sure to order of Bushwacker (like a Mudslide). Their pizza is pretty good too!

Sam's Sports Grill - Blue Turtle Bay

The closest restaurant to our cozy cottage by water. While Sam's Bushwacker is really good, the one you get here is even better. It has a more creamy texture.
These folks have nightly specials and usually have some kind of live music.

Always my favorite dinner destination when out on the lake. We've actually only gone on the lake in order to meet friends and have dinner at Cherokee. It's worth the trip no matter which end of the lake you put in at. Nothing fancy but old school goodness with nightly specials.

A wonderful mix of Brazilian and Greek food but it almost seems Italian as well. Even if you've had dinner at the cottage or somewhere else in town, this place is a MUST for dessert and coffee. Trust me, you will NOT be sorry.

Unique place for lunch. Our favorites are the Topped & Chopped Salad and the Monte Cristo Sandwich. You get a chocolate covered strawberry with every order. Their dessert is delicious too. Only open for lunch.

Best BBQ around. It's Texas Style and SO delicious! Locally owned. Worth the visit. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu for lunch or dinner. Sometimes they're even open for Breakfast! My favorite is the corn casserole, which is like a side and dessert all in one. Nachos are huge and the pulled pork is awesome.

They turn on the machine and it comes out as soft serve amazingness. Try vanilla with fresh strawberries & fruity pebbles in a waffle cone. SO GOOD! Don likes Chocolate so we usually get Chocolate with Almonds & Mini Marshmallows. We share the cone and it's enough for the two of us. Go. Trust us on this one.
