THE BEST PINTXOS (AVOID TOURIST TRAPS!)
You will find a lot of pintxo bars in town, specially in the Old Town, and it's easy to get lost...Besides, we've seen new "tourist traps" in the last years...so try to stick to the traditional ones.
Here are my favorites.
This bar is located facing the cathedral of the Good Shepert (Buen pastor), 5 minutes away fron the appartment. You can have a seat if you order pintxos or bites (normally we eat the pintxos standing up, but some places offer the possibility to have a seat and eat the pintxos confortably). The tortilla de patatas is very good!

Zeruko offers a less traditional style of pintxos, very sophisticated and surprising. They are also a bit expensive but it is true that there is a lot of work behind each of the bites.
Try the "hoguera de bacalao", a cod based pintxo.
