At the feet of the rocky mountain called Bargy that you see from my balcony. My first recommandation as a ski station. Cheap ski pass. Not touristy.
But not so many bars along ski slopes and the length of slopes are limited. We can t have everything !

The classic attraction is the aiguille du midi cabin which brings you directly to a 3 900 meters summit. Large variety of hikes (some hard), climbing, biking option and glacier (off slopes skiing). Large choice of restaurants too

Large choice of restaurants too
Probably our best kept secret. The "circus" of the Fer a Cheval is a natural circus at river beginning with plenty of waterfalls. More recommended in summer. In winter, those falls come to ice so it is much nice too.
Sixt and Samoens old mountain villages are other kept secrets, very authentic
