The local dog park is right next to our home. Enjoy a stroll around the grassy area, surronded by lakes, but step on the grass at your own risk! (risk of stepping in dog poo).

At the lowest part of the Fossvogur valley, there is a very nice trail that goes all the way down town in one direction and through Elliðarárdalur in the other. There is also a very nice frisby-golf field there for you to enjoy free of charge.

Geothermal Swimmingpool and spa. Also a great gym within walking distance from the house. If you are too tired to walk back from your intense workout, you can take citybus nr 17 from Suðurlandsbraut all the way back to the house.
Note: if you are a group or are planning on coming again, the price of admition is a "tourist price". If you buy a card with 10 admitions you get a much better deal.
