my local coffee shop within walking distance, they have decent food as well, a kid zone, and a completely separate 'study area' where talking/making noise is frowned upon. This place is closest, but the BEST coffee is Blueprint followed by Park Ave, both of which are nearby, albeit not walkable (meh, maybe Park Ave :)

Totally awesome pizza. Has unique 'sauce on top' style, with a cornmeal crust. Very, very, good. Only other pizza in town that is as good as this is Black Thorn Pub pizza, which is totally different (Chicago Style).

A Saint Louis secret! This dive-bar happens to have AMAZING Chicago style pizza. Best pizza in town right next to Pi Pizza. Heads up, it can take up to an hour to get your pizza on busy nights. There are plenty of games to keep you entertained while you wait though, including shuffle board and darts.
Many times I just call and order ahead and show up a bit later to eat it :)

Heads up, it can take up to an hour to get your pizza on busy nights. There are plenty of games to keep you entertained while you wait though, including shuffle board and darts.

Always has a full crowd. Decent food as well. Crowd can be on the younger side at night, especially on Thursdays.

You take a shuttle ride through the grounds and see various animals, and at the end you can see various exhibits of animals, including a petting zoo and elephant show.
