Food Scene
Deeeeeeelicious, colorful and FILLING. There is artistry in the setting; an old house turned into a restaurant, murals on the wall and the food combos are off the chart. It's an Ashland Hot Spot and you'll be full til the afternoon! Woah. It's busy on the weekends so expect a long wait, especially if you get there around 10/11am. My favorite thing to get is the kale scramble with polenta side and gf toast! The in-house marionberry jam is sooooo good. And they have amazing mimosas! Oh, and for sweet, the oatmeal pancakes are delish!

BEST BURRITOS EVER! If you're wanting to set out on an adventure or about to hit the road to the next destination, they're the best grab-n-go brekkie. They have lunch too, but I only go there for breakfast. I'd call ahead and give yourself 10-15 minutes. The most popular item is the regular meat burrito - it has sausage, bacon AND ham on it. They have in-house salsa that you have to request a side of. MY FAVORITE is the gf steak and egg and I add chard to it (because I don't like eating food unless it has green on it). There are also vegan and veggie options! There are kid burritos for the little ones too! You can eat there, but I like to call ahead and leave because it gets crowded.

They stay open late too for the Ashland Nightlife and usually have a good band playing on weekends. Love the ambience and has become a local favorite during the late hours. I think it's classy and still a lot of fun. The cocktails are off the chart - especially by mixologist, Blake. Don't see something you like? He'll figure out how to make it.....unless it's too busy.

35 N Main StBrickroom is downtown and a gorgeous restaurant for any meal of the day! It's my FAVORITE local location. Brekkie I like to get their benedict with the bacon jam potatoes. Other times of the day I like to get the dirty fries, Szechuan Chicken Wings, the spinach salad and beet salad. mmmmmm. They stay open late too for the Ashland Nightlife and usually have a good band playing on weekends. Love the ambience and has become a local favorite during the late hours. I think it's classy and still a lot of fun. The cocktails are off the chart - especially by mixologist, Blake. Don't see something you like? He'll figure out how to make it.....unless it's too busy.

Melissa, the owner, has a brick-and-mortar, as well as food kart, locations in Portland and is quickly becoming famous on the food scene. You don't want to miss it. mmmmmm. There are actually tots you can order and I like to get two orders (for a bigger group) and one of each dipping sauce: peanut and tamarind. If it's not pho friday, I loooooove the beef noddle or the curry noodle soup. Oh, and the crepes are delish!! It's tucked away and worth finding!

Local roasters and they have two location, but this one is close to the house. It's so yummy and they make the best mocha in town. Also, there are a LOT of artisan chocolate bars you can choose from (the downtown location has donuts, some vegan) and their house-made granola is my favorite. I love taking my kids on hot coco dates here or hitting it up on a slow morning. Lovely owners and they've done it right. Yay Case!

Also, there are a LOT of artisan chocolate bars you can choose from (the downtown location has donuts, some vegan) and their house-made granola is my favorite. I love taking my kids on hot coco dates here or hitting it up on a slow morning. Lovely owners and they've done it right. Yay Case!

Close to the house and has an "Ashland" feel. It's my favorite grocery store on this side of town and is next to Bi-Mart for any other items of convenience. The people that work at Shop'n Kart really are wonderful and helpful and hilarious.
