This is a particularly good spot if you have any dietary restrictions (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, or other food allergies). This is not a place for a quick bite, but a place to thoroughly enjoy Puerto Rico and food made with great care. Gladys uses predominantly local ingredients from her garden and the island. This is a new bar on the backside of Suenos del Mar in Las Croabas. The band plays on Thursday-Saturday and Salsa dancing is the dance of the night. There is a full bar, lots of atmosphere and a very nice breeze. Please double check to see if they are still in business since the Hurricane Maria.

You can't go to Puerto Rico without walking through the iconic colorful streets of old San Juan. Go early in the morning, come back in the evening. Park in the Public Garage near the Cruise Ship Port. Have a designated driver and do some iconic bar hopping, shopping and see the forts. Its a great day to be had.

Icacos is the best beach near Las Croabas but you must take a water taxi to get there. East Coast Water taxis is who we recommend. Esther and Capt Lucas can accommodate up to 8 passengers at a time and they located down at the pier in Las Croabas. Call them at 787-518-8337. Tell them you are a guest of Villa Turquesa. Pack a cooler with cold beverages and lunch. You can also take a portable grill and some float noodles. We have everything you need at the villa for a trip to the beach or to Icacos.
