More or less our next-door neighbor. Walk up the stairs from our apartment and through the Nordnes Park to get there. Great walk and not least a nice aquarium. Great family value.

As mentioned elsewhere as well, this is our neighboring cultural scene. They have everything from galleries, concerts to a pub/restaurant. Not the place to eat, but great for experiences and beer/drink if the weather is nice.

Drinks & Nightlife
Ask for more recommendations, but this is the coolest bar/pub not too far from our apartment. It is situated in an area with other great places for drinks/beers (with some good eating options as well), so in general – I would recommend this area for a night out (unless you want clubbing, then I am not the person to ask).

It is situated in an area with other great places for drinks/beers (with some good eating options as well), so in general – I would recommend this area for a night out (unless you want clubbing, then I am not the person to ask).

Nordnes has some great wooden houses areas, as well as great views on both the Western and Eastern side of the peninsula. You have the Nordnes Park, the Sea bath (Nordnes sjøbad), the Aquarium (Akvariet) and nice places to shop and eat. In other words, no reason to leave Nordnes while in Bergen.
