Here you can find the monument to Cebu’s greatest hero - Datu Lapulapu who fought the Portuguese and Spanish invaders in 1521. Tye shrine is testament to the Cebuanos (people from Cebu) bravery. This shore is the site where the local hero killed Ferdinand Magellan.
