Food Scene

The Village Estevan serves breakfast all day (they have lunch dishes too) and the latkes that lie beneath the eggs and hollandaise are fantastic. They have plenty of great options and portion sizes are perfect. The line on weekends is worth it. Read full article here: http://www.mondaymag.com/food/363280871.html

Parks & Nature

There are several trails through Mt. Doug Park that suit all levels of walkers/hikers. It is also a great place to trek during the hot weather as the tree canopy provides shade. The various trails are marked according to difficulty, but I have been known to vere onto an unfamiliar trail by accident.
