Good food, lovely back patio that you wouldn't know is there so ask to be seated on the patio. Main Street is vintage Santa Monica, less touristy.

It has a grassy area with a baseball diamond, basketball court, kids playground and a meager (not enough water this year!) pond with ducks. Great parking for beach access here as well.

If you want to head north to Marina del Rey, Venice or Santa Monica head across this bridge and follow the path, turning left on the Marvin Braude Bike Path.
