A 20-minute drive to Flagler Beach, this "cinnamon beach" sits along Florida’s Atlantic Coast between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, cozy Flagler Beach offers miles of sparkling beaches, bountiful fishing, beachside shops, waterfront restaurants, and natural parks and other wonders.
Flagler Beach is a retro town with salty style. Friendly residents and open-air restaurants set the stage for a laid-back afternoon.
Our favorite open-air, beachside restaurant is the Golden Lion. Great seafood and usually live music and entertainment (especially on weekends).
Enjoy Flagler Beach's eclectic shops, surfing, a classic fishing pier and a six-mile-plus stretch of spectacular ocean views – with free access to the beach.
Gaze at the ocean from rooftop cafes while listening to the music of local musicians.
The natural island environment is still a secret to many, but once you put your feet in the sand of Flagler Beach, you’ll feel like a native.

Jungle Hut Beach Park (10-minute drive from the house to Jungle Hut Road where beach is located).
Located in the beautiful Hammock area of Flagler County, this two-acre park offers beach access, paved parking, restrooms, and outdoor shower facilities. Rocks in the surf and the possibility of strong undercurrents, make it ideal for those who enjoy relaxing near the ocean in peace. It's not well-suited for swimming, which means it is rarely crowded.
Take the dune walkover to the beach to find a variety of shorebirds, gulls and pelicans. It's a great place to look for ruby-throated hummingbirds during the summer, and gannets during the winter.
Hours are dawn to 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday. For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 386-313-4020.

We love this shopping village for great restaurants and they have a farmer's market on Sundays!
If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food, you must try Tram's Cafe. Really good Pho!
