Chair 9 is located directly across the highway from Snowline and is around a five-minute walk from our front door. Chair 9 is a must-visit in the area, especially if you aren't feeling like cooking after a long day in the mountains. They have the best pizza and a great selection of beer for those 21 and over.

Sightseeing
This is the trail we named our cabin after and one of our favorite views in the area. If you are up for the 9 miles and 2500 feet of elevation gain, this hike is worth every second of effort. Once you reach the ridge you are greeted with expansive views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.
*Due to a washout on the road this trailhead is currently closed unless you want to add an extra 8 miles round trip!

Skyline Divide Trailhead
This is the trail we named our cabin after and one of our favorite views in the area. If you are up for the 9 miles and 2500 feet of elevation gain, this hike is worth every second of effort. Once you reach the ridge you are greeted with expansive views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.

Artist Point is around a 20-minute drive from the cabin depending on the season. In winter you will park at the Heather Meadows lot at Mt Baker Ski Area (arrive early on weekends to ensure parking!) and snowshoe the final two miles to the view. Please keep in mind weather and avalanche conditions if snowshoeing in winter!
In summer, you can drive all the way to the viewpoint and hike around the surrounding area if you desire.

Artist Point
Artist Point is around a 20-minute drive from the cabin depending on the season. Picture Lake Path Trailhead
The most photographed lake in the US is only a short 20-minute drive from the cabin! On a calm sunny day, the reflection of Mount Shuksan off the still waters can't be missed!
Keep in mind the lake is frozen and snow-covered in winter and early spring so there will be no reflection, though the view of Mount Shuksan is worth it either way!
For the skiers and snowboarders staying at Skyline Cabin, Mt.Baker Ski area is sure to be your destination of choice! Depending on road conditions the ski area is a 20-30 minute drive from the cabin. Advanced skiers will love the terrain off Chairs 1 and 6, Intermediate riders will love Chairs 4-8, and beginners can practice off of Chair 2 until they are ready to check out steeper terrain!
