You must check out the nearby beaches. Belle Cote Beach is located off Belle Cote Beach Rd, 2 minutes north on the Cabot Trail and then left. Nice beach to walk and explore, sometimes sandy and typically good swimming. Margaree Harbour Beach is a lovely sandy beach. Only a 3 minute drive, south on the Cabot Trail, across the Margaree Harbour Bridge, turn right onto route 219, at top of hill turn right to the village of Margaree Harbour. The roads ends at the beach parking lot, over the dune and you’re at the beach! Whale Cove Beach is a little further up route 219, but only a 5 minute drive.
