Best way to get around.
Bikes and Golf Carts are the easiest way to get around. A car can also be needed depending on travelers plan to explores father out. You can walk to several beach accesses and food and drink options with a 20- 30 min walk and is totally doable with multi use paved trail along scenic 30A.

Topsail hill preserve state park
DO NOT MISS going to Topsail Hill preserve state across the street. $6 entry per car gets you access to a beach shuttle that brings you to 3.2 miles of undeveloped and untouched Florida beach. Also find the seahorse artificial reef located just off the beach here. Lastly paddle board, kayak, walk around the scenic and rare coastal dune lakes.

Traffic along US 98
You will be located along the more peaceful, upscale area away from the hustle and bustle of more touristy Destin. Traffic increases as you travel west past Sandestin towards Destin. In Destin proper the several miles may take you 15-30 minutes depending on traffic so plan accordingly.
