This is a must for breakfast or lunch - you can get breakfast all day. Sit at the counter for an up close view of the “show”. The waitstaff calls out the order to the cooks and there are no written guest tickets for the cooks to refer to -but your meal comes as requested even when the place is packed ! Say hi to the owner Dave who has been at the grill for decades! The blueberry pancakes ( ask for an “order of blues”) are the best in the state! Treat yourself to the real Maine maple syrup.

Go at low tide to hear/ see the best crashing of the waves. This is created by the water entering the caves and “thundering”. It’s really a must see if you’re in Acadia National Park. Spectacular views all the way around. Wear sensible footwear here - the steps down to it are usually wet.
