Get familiar with the Lake

This is the quiet side of the Lake. Weekends are busy and at 4:00 Sunday afternoon most everyone goes home and the Lake is yours. We are 1/2 miile from the Little Niangua Arm and the best Water skiing and boating and floating can be found here. Fishing all the docks have brush surrounding them along this shoreline. Trot lines, Jugs, or fishing for Blue Catfish or Channel Cat there is always success. Chicken Livers from Woods, Gerbes, or Dierberg's Just tie a line off the dock 12 - 15 feet down and you will have several great meals

By boat during the week you can safely and enjoyably explore up and down the Osage Arm. Beautiful undevelped areas all the up Osage ARM 30 MM on up past the 50MM Smooth water and Natural Ozark Views. Two favorites Dicks Halfway Inn. Historic stop on the Half original Home of the Minnow Shots! Another local favorite at the 50 MM is the Red Fox. A great destination to cool off get a sandwich and a beer. Weekends always have a one man Band on the patio underneath the shade of a Giant Sycamore Tree.

30 MM to the 1 MM For Breakfast Only it is always Millers Landing 28 MM. Eat on the deck or Covered Patio. Traditional Items, known for Salty Waitresses and the best Bloody Mary's. Backwater Jacks For A great Lake Restaurant/Pool and Bar Food is outstanding. Sandwiches, seafood, Cajun, and the best appetizer selection on the lake. Located at the 17.7 MM it is a great boat trip during the week and they also have plenty of parking if by vehicle.
