The Priest beach or locally referred to as the ladies beach is a lovely sandy beach. Whilst the Priest beach is self explanatory, a long wall was built along the end of the beach to give ladies privacy so they could bath in peace. Victorian times!

The Neptune Bar, lounge and beer garden serve traditional and craft beers and great cocktails. Their in-house pizza restaurant, Crust is definitely a must, best pizza’s ever. The lovely outdoor garden is spacious and very popular with locals.

Transport
Blackrock is located 50 miles north of Dublin and can be accessible from the airport by the 100x bus every half hour which stops in Dundalk. Taxi from there to Blackrock takes about 5 minutes. Blackrock has its own bus service to Dundalk, see halfpenny transport.
