Appleknockers is a convenience store, with some groceries (even some local meat and veg), beer and wine, gas, limited toiletries, coffee, a deli, sandwiches made to order and many other things you might need- it's also a full-on hardware store and carries tool and items you might need for camp. It's a short drive down the road.

Definitely worth driving the auto road to the top of Mount Washington, the view is spectacular and the observatory is up there is historical cabins, environmental exhibits, and snacks!
