This beach does have a cashless toll to cross the bridge on the way, but that also means its less likely to have crowds like the many free beaches in Florida.
What is also great is that Punta Gorda beach feels like a private because and the distance from the sand to ocean is small, your not going to have a bunch of people blocking your view

Cocoplum Village shops is one of the closests shopping centers that has a little bit of everything! My favorites being Tjmaxx, Hobby Lobby, and Kirklands, plus a great nail salon! First Watch (brunch) and Chipotle as well as il Primo's pizza! AND of course Tropical Smoothie!
If you forgot flip flops, or need a dress for a night out, got to get a pedicure, or just a smoothie, this is where you need to go.
