This pizza places has delicious entries like bree cheese and assortments of jellies. They also have pizza styles that go out of the ordinary, alongside your common ones. It is also located in a balcony from which you can see the historic ruins.

The restaurant has amazing italian food. The menu is limited but fantastic and you are attended by the owner. I recommend the pasta.

Los tres tiempos serves a fusion of Guatemalan typical food. The tortillas are made from different colors of corn which is a trademark of Guatemalan culture. I recommend the hot chocolate, las dobladas de queso and the elote loco. There is a beautiful view from the second floor and the decoration is very colorful.

I recommend the hot chocolate, las dobladas de queso and the elote loco. There is a beautiful view from the second floor and the decoration is very colorful.
This places has delicious french food. I recommend the beef with hongo porcini. The atmosphere is extremely confortable but fancy. You can sit both inside and outside.

This place sells some of the best Guatemalan typical candy in the country. This candy shop has been around since 1872 which makes it an important part of the city. They are also famous for their “tecolotes” which are owl sculptures made from clay in many different sizes.

For Hikers
If you like adventure and nature, I recommend hiking Volcan Acatenango. The volcano is beautiful and there is the option of hiking from the bottom or getting half-way up by car. From the top you can see the eruptions from Volcan de Fuego, Lake Atitlan and the Pacific Ocean. I can help you get in touch with a great tour/expedition guide.
