Voted Best Outdoor Dining 2019!
Voted Best Fried Chicken 2019-Nothing beats comfort food. Aptly named, these dishes seem to speak to our soul and nourish us in a way that only homemade recipes and loving preparation can. Since 1982, the Homeplace Restaurant has served the area with a gorgeous setting, hospitality, and generous portions of comfort food. There may be a wait when you arrive at the restaurant, but rest assured that the delicious food will be worthwhile. Plus, you can relax and admire the gorgeous view from the front porch.

The Dragon's Tooth Trail is a rugged and rewarding hike. The trail offers incredible views of the area and an opportunity to see some of the unique geological features of Cove Mountain. The mountain is home to various outcrops of rock, and the "Dragon's Tooth" is a unique spire that projects 35 feet above the surrounding rock. The head of the trail also offers excellent views of many nearby and distant peaks. It's a rewarding climb that requires some skill and challenge to travel.
